Featuring a robust 0.8mm (1/32") Corner Radius and the specialized PC9030 PVD Grade, this insert excels where high cutting forces and heat are present. With 4 usable cutting edges, it provides maximum cost-efficiency for semi-finishing and medium-duty turning of 300 and 400 series stainless steels.

Built for Toughness: The R0.8 edge is significantly stronger than the R0.4 version, allowing it to withstand the mechanical shock of interrupted cuts and the thermal stress of deep profiling in gummy materials like 304 and 316 stainless steel.

Overcoming Work Hardening
